Summer Programs

The dates and times may change from year-to-year, however the program goals remain the same: to bring families with kids of all ages together for weekly in-person programs built around literary and artistic themes.

Each week features hands-on activities and projects designed to be educational, interactive, and fun.

At the heart of the Summer Reading Program is a simple but important goal: preventing the loss of momentum in reading skills, known as the dreaded "summer slide."

Reading challenges run throughout the summer with reading logs, Treasure Box visits, and prize drawings to keep participants motivated all season long.
